In 2024, Gerardo Cesari wines embody a blend of tradition and innovation, rooted in a deep respect for the land. Their approach combines courage and vision to create wines that endure the test of time while embracing the future. Situated in diverse climatic and geological regions, including Valpolicella Classica and the shores of Lake Garda, their vineyards produce wines that tell captivating stories from the vine to the glass.
The heart of their operation lies in the province of Verona, with a cellar in Cavaion Veronese, constructed in 1997, designed to cater to the aging needs of their wines. Here, wines mature in barrels underground, developing their character over time. The grape drying, pressing, fermentation, and initial refinement processes occur in the Fumane cellar, approximately 9 miles from Verona.
Completed in 2021, this facility serves as their headquarters, housing bottling and labeling operations. Throughout their journey, Gerardo Cesari remains committed to their roots in Valpolicella Classica, embracing both tradition and innovation to craft wines that reflect their heritage and anticipation of the future.
