Accademia Olearia is the main producer of 'Sardegna DOP' certified extra virgin olive oil and is a leader in the production of this Sardinian DOP. The main cultivar grown is Bosana, which ensures constant production and a high oil yield.
The extra virgin oil is characterised by a medium intensity fruitiness, with herbaceous notes, freshness and hints of bitterness and spiciness.
The Accafemia Olearia was the protagonist at the Esao Awards 2022/23 with the 'Best Italian Evoo', awarded by the Superior School of Olive Oil, with the first prize for 'Producer's Reserve' Sardegna Dop' and the second with 'Gran Riserva Giuseppe Fois'.
