For the first time in its history, 32 Via dei birrai took part in the prestigious competition to find the best beers in the world and brought home a brilliant result.

Audace and Oppale were awarded gold and bronze respectively. Audace received a gold medal for its design, while Oppale, after passing a number of tastings, was awarded the bronze medal in the Pale Beer - American-style Pale Ale category.
The World Beer Awards is the most prestigious competition in the beer industry, with over 2300 breweries from 50 countries taking part. Finalists battle it out in London after three rounds and are judged by a panel of 100 European, American and Australian experts.
