It's the 'Viola Bio' of the Viola Agricultural Company in Foligno (Perugia) that has been deemed the best organic extra virgin olive oil in the world by the jury of the international award 'Biol 2023', established in 1996 by Ci.Bi. (Italian Consortium for Organic Products). The competition saw the participation of around 300 companies, with 440 oils in the running: 60 from non-European countries, 150 from Europe, and 230 from Italy.
The Viola Agricultural Company is undoubtedly one of the most interesting producers in the Umbrian landscape, creating a harmonious extra virgin oil with a strong personality, guaranteeing high quality and innovation while respecting traditions. This excellence is chosen by many Michelin-starred chefs for its goodness.
Moreover, for the fifth consecutive year, the Agricultural Company is part of the Hall of Fame, the lifetime achievement award granted by Flos Olei which includes a group of olive oil companies that have achieved such a high level of quality over the years that they deserve a career recognition represented by a score of 100/100.
