Craftsmanship and respect for tradition are the pivotal points of our philosophy. 500 years of passion: pasta is unarguably the world’s best-known and most commonly exported Italian specialty, and Gragnano, with its mild and slightly damp climate, has provided the best place for producing it for many centuries
Made in Italy is easy to say…
In 2009, the year we started producing our pasta, we obtained one of the most important certifications for Italian quality: 100% Made in Italy, issued by the institute for the Protection of Italian Producers. Every year our firm undergoes a series of rigorous checks in order to ascertain that the entire production cycle is carried out in Italy. This means that from the grain of wheat to the packaging material, everything is guaranteed of domestic provenance.
The new millennium brought the results of all this devoted work: in 2013 Gragnano Pasta obtained the IGP mark, the European certification of its exceptional manufacturing story.
IGP (Indicazione Geografica Protetta) guarantees the product’s provenance and quality and – in the case of Gragnano pasta – bears witness to a centuries-old tradition.
The design that contains excellence.
Gragnano IGP pasta must be packaged, within 24 hours at the place of production, in cardboard boxes or transparent bags made by recyclable plant-based materials permitted by European regulations. It may seem strange to mention design in a culinary context. You may wonder what connection there is between design and pasta. We have chosen a packaging style that meets the criteria of robustness and perfect preservation, but also the firm’s requirements of transparency and social responsibility, making our employees key to the success of our products.
