Torrefazione Cannaregio™ is an handcraft coffee roasting located in one of the most famous district of Venice, Cannaregio, since 1930. Today is only coffee roasting in the old town of the city where you can drink a coffee in. For over 80 years it has been keeping to roast coffee every day with the same passion, among jute bags and steaming cups.
Torrefazione Cannaregio™ preserve over the time the same care on raw materials and to the art of roasting handed down over generations. The different types of handcrafted coffee, comes from the best coffeegrowing areas of the world.
Torrefazione Cannaregio™ roast every day in their own small old shop following the handcraft rituals of the past using a traditional drum method dated 1940. Each type of coffee is separately toasted in order to keep intact the own organoleptic characteristics.
Roasting is one of the most important phases of the process which decides the good result in a cup of the selected coffees. Each type has a “ad hoc” roasting cycle, which determines the colour of toasting and its flavour.
